The Maintenance Worker for the Litter Crew performs unskilled and semiskilled manual labor in various areas of assigned responsibility for the Solid Waste Management division. There are two vacancies for this position. The schedule for the first vacancy is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The schedule for the second vacancy is Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Drives and/or operates a county vehicle or equipment and must obey all safety policies, and roadway rules and laws.Performs litter pickup along County roads, recycling centers, illegal dump sites and landfill.Installs temporary litter fences and perform general grounds maintenance.Assists with installation of drainage ditches.Assists customer service and hazardous waste staff.Performs other duties as required.
