Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Specialist to join our team at Citrus County, FL. As a key member of our Public Works department, you will play a critical role in managing and implementing water resource management projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections and data collection for stormwater management systems
- Analyze and design stormwater infrastructure improvements
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and contractors to develop project plans and specifications
- Manage and coordinate elements of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit
- Develop and implement retrofits and improve existing drainage functionality to meet current and growing demands
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Four years of progressive experience in Civil Engineering and design experience
- Experience in stormwater design, roadway, utility, site, and pavement design
