*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment for students, particularly those with special needs. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, implementing effective teaching strategies, and providing support to students in their academic and personal development. The Teacher will work closely with parents, staff, and the community to ensure the best outcomes for all students. *Responsibilities* - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students. - Utilize effective teaching methods to engage students in learning activities. - Provide individualized support for students with special education needs, including those on the autism spectrum. - Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods. - Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior. - Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect. - Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to create individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional support. - Incorporate literacy education into daily lessons to enhance reading and writing skills. - Provide behavioral therapy techniques as needed to support student emotional well-being. - Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. *Requirements* - Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; certification in Special Education is preferred. - Experience working with children in a classroom setting, particularly with special needs populations. - Strong proofreading skills to ensure clarity and accuracy in communication. - Knowledge of literacy education strategies and standardized testing procedures. - Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - A compassionate approach towards educating children, especially those requiring additional support. - Experience or training in behavioral therapy techniques is a plus. - Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students.
