What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Department Associate position at Citrus Equipment & Repair, Inc?
Citrus Equipment is a local, independent small business of outdoor power equipment sales and service.
We specialize in lawn and garden equipment, such as zero turn lawn mowers, walk behind lawn mowers, chain saws, trimmers, pressure washers, generators, and other outdoor power equipment. We are looking to expand our team with a parts counter associate. You will be assisting customers with parts inquiries, orders, sales, and inventory.
We are looking to fulfill an hourly full time position, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Our hours expand to include Saturdays during peak season, where overtime is available.
Responsibilities
Providing customer service with a friendly attitude.
Primarily assist customers at front counter with the looking up of parts with the use of our multiple parts lookup systems.
Sales of parts and equipment, cashiering and money handling.
Processing customer payments by phone.
Answering telephone calls.
Processing and managing daily purchase orders.
Re-stocking showroom inventory from daily shipments and as needed.
Organizing and maintaining cleanliness front desk.
Write up and schedule repairs for the service department.
Requirements
Strong customer service skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Comfortable with computer systems and willing to learn our sales software.
Capable of lifting heavy parts and equipment.
Previous experience in parts sales is preferred.
Basic knowledge of outdoor power equipment.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
