Rug Shop Supervisor – Lead, Inspire, and Drive Success

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and manage a dynamic, customer-focused environment? We're looking for a Rug Shop Supervisor who would enjoy motivating a high-performing team to deliver a phenomenal customer experience while keeping a sharp eye on sales and profitability.

What You’ll Be Doing

People Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, hire, and onboard top-notch technicians who share your passion for excellence.
• Coach, mentor, and inspire your team to meet (and exceed) sales goals while delivering a phenomenal customer service experience.
• Create and manage staff schedules, balancing team coverage with operational needs.
• Handle employee relations with professionalism — including performance management and conflict resolution.

Shop & Operations Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of both the rug shop and warehouse, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming rug shop environment — first impressions count!
• Implement and uphold company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

Sales & Customer Experience

• Lead by example to drive sales performance and help the team hit (and crush) revenue targets.
• Ensure all sales transactions and financial records are accurate and current.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, from answering inquiries to solving challenges with a can-do attitude.
• Tackle customer complaints with empathy and efficiency, turning issues into opportunities for loyalty.

Inventory & Supplier Coordination

• Keep a close eye on inventory levels to ensure optimal stock for both the shop floor and sales.
• Partner with suppliers to order products, manage deliveries and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Proactively address supply chain hiccups to keep things running smoothly.
