Summary
As a Class Instructor, you’ll be responsible for leading our meal prep classes and guiding participants through the process of meal assembly. In select locations, you’ll also assist in fully assembling meals for customers. This role requires a combination of leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for cooking and teaching.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Organize and structure the class program based on manager instructions.
- Lead groups of 12-16 participants, instructing them on meal assembly processes step-by-step.
- Answer questions and resolve any issues that arise during classes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for participants.
- Communicate any location-specific needs or issues to the Location Manager or Lead Dietitian.
- Launder aprons and towels to ensure cleanliness before and after each class.
- Wash, sort, and inventory ingredients for meals to ensure accuracy and readiness.
- Prepare workstations and ingredients ahead of time for class.
- Clean up and take down after classes, ensuring the space is ready for future use.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active food handler permit required.
- Strong ability to read and follow recipes with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and create a collaborative environment.
- Intermediate cooking knowledge is preferred, but not mandatory.
