Broomfield is hiring for Gymnastics Instructor I
The Gymnastics Instructor I specializes in instruction for the sport of gymnastics for the PreSchool level through the Pre Team level to participants ranging in ages from 2.5 to 12 years. Instructors maintain a safe and welcoming environment for the participants while following the protocol given to them by the Supervisor. The Instructor will follow the lesson plans provided and ensure each participant has an enjoyable experience while learning about the sport of gymnastics.
Gymnastics programs run Monday to Friday in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings, as well as on weekends.
Salary Range: $16.05 - $21.71 /hour

Teaches class content appropriate to the class description and appropriate level of skill to each participant.
Demonstrates gymnastics techniques as required by each level.
Follows and enforces safety rules and regulations in the gym.
Set up and take down equipment as needed.
Evaluates participants on skill development, and provides feedback to participants and parents.
Attend scheduled meetings as required.
Complete required certifications in a timely manner.
Education
No education requirements
Experience –
Less than 1 year experience participating or teaching gymnastics preferred, not required.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
New hires must, as a condition of employment, pass the following pre-offer and post-offer/hire processes: in-person or virtual interviews, reference checks, background checks including local police check and sex-offender registry.
Must be 14 years of age.
Must have current, valid Standard First Aid Certification and Community CPR Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

May require lifting up to 75 lbs
Must provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the participant during instruction which includes a full range of physical abilities including: performing and maintaining aerobic exercise, bending, stretching, and lifting minimal weight.
Required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or equipment.
Required to hear; stand; bend or twist from the upper body; use hands and/or feet to perform manual tasks such as spotting; reach with hands and arms; squat; and climb or balance.
Visual abilities including close, distant, depth, peripheral are required.
