About Our Job
The Denver International Airport Field Maintenance team is looking for an Airport Maintenance Tech. This position with the Field Maintenance Division performs semi-skilled general labor of grounds, roadway, taxiway, and runway maintenance under the supervisor of Airport Field Technician Supervisors.
The Airport Maintenance Technician is an entry level classification with progressive levels of experience and responsibility. The employees in this series (located at Denver International Airport) operate in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Air Operations Area (AOA) which requires additional levels of security background checks and airfield driving certifications. Additionally, employees in this series perform maintenance services that must meet the unique compliance requirements of federal rules, regulations, and policies associated with airfield maintenance such as CFR Part 139 and FAA Advisory Circular 150 / 5380-6C.

FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and / or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. Snow / Emergency Duties
Denver International Airport is a 24 / 7 / 365 team operation. If weather conditions warrant or an emergency crisis occurs, all DEN employees can be required to work extended hours and / or shifts.
