What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $25.00-$27.00 / hour, based on education and experience. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to :
Location
In this position you can expect to report downtown to the Wellington Webb building (201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver 80202) at the start of the shift and then patrol an assigned area of the City on foot and / or in a vehicle for the remainder of the shift.
During the first week of training, you will be scheduled from 7 : 15-3 : 45pm. The next several weeks of training will be field training with mainly day shifts and swing shifts. After training, you will be placed on one of the following shifts based on operational need. Scheduling assignments are determined using a shift bidding system, where you may bid on the following shifts. Hours / schedules can change.

Required Minimum Qualifications
Must obtain a Code Enforcement Commission Certification from the Executive Director of Safety's Office. This certification is required in accordance with the City Charter and the Denver Revised Municipal Code. Failure to obtain the certification will result in the withdrawal of the offer for the position or end probationary status.
