What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The expected starting salary range for this position is $100,000-$122,000. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to :
- A guaranteed life-long monthly pension, once vested after 5 years of service

- 140 hours of PTO earned within first year 11 paid holidays, 1 personal holiday and 1 volunteer day per year

This is a 3-year time limited position with the possibility of extension, however, extension is not guaranteed.

Location
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. In this position you can expect to work on site at the Champa Arts Building at 1245 Champa Street, or onsite at our other venues at least 3 days a week. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.
What You’ll Do
Seeking a Project Manager to support the Senior Project Manager of Downtown & Strategic Projects at Denver Arts & Venues (DAV). DAV has become a key player in the citywide efforts to revitalize downtown, with a critical focus on 16th Street as the foundation for creating a vibrant Denver. The agency’s role in downtown projects has expanded significantly, with increased investment, involvement, and responsibility for driving activation and enhancing the downtown experience. This role will focus on coordination, information management, and implementation of initiatives driving downtown Denver’s revitalization. The Project Manager will help collaborate with DAV departments, city agencies, and external partners on all downtown strategic projects, including the 16th Street reopening, the Downtown Area Plan, capital improvements at the Denver Performing Arts Complex as a top downtown destination, and other investments as they relate to infusing arts and culture into downtown.

Required Minimum Qualifications
Education requirement : Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
Experience Requirement : Two (2) years of professional project management experience in the related occupational group including coordinating, administering, and monitoring projects.
Education / Experience Equivalency : One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
