Technology Asset Management Intern – (6-month College internship)
Who We Are
The Business Technologies Asset Management (TAM) Team Provides essential services and support for all DEN employees. We are responsible for managing all hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle. We coordinate and complete over 100 hardware and software renewals annually totaling over 6 million dollars. We recycle over 10 tons of electronic waste each year. Through our software license harvesting program, we saved on average $100k annually. We are a very document driven group and have over 60 documents from standard operating procedures to policies.

What You’ll Do
As an intern you will get to experience :
- Project #1 - All stages of the Asset Lifecycle Management process from procurement to disposal for software and hardware.
- Project #2- Learn how to manage a storeroom, maintain stock levels, reorder stock, and inventory.
- Project #3- Help complete software harvesting, version control, and license management activities.
- Project #4 - Gain ServiceNow experience through tickets, record updates, vendor management, enhancements, and projects.
- Project #5 - Assist in annual hardware inventory by sending electronic hardware verifications or doing physical audits.
- Project #6 - Assist with the implementation of ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro.

Location Flexibility
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed.
Internship Duration and Hours :
This is a 6-month internship with a completion date of December 5th, 2025 , with typical hours not exceeding 20-39 hours a week and during the summer and 16-30 hours a week during school semesters
Compensation Technology Asset Management intern hourly
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive pay rate to commensurate with education. The salary range for this position is $20.92-23.64 / per hour , based on education. Denver International Airport emerging talent positions are required to attend all sessions of professional development within the cohort model. You will be onboarded with a cohort of peers to begin to help you develop your network across the aviation industry.
