Who We Are
Are you interested in advocating for transportation justice from the inside? Here at the Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, we believe young people are the experts in their communities and how youth move around them, and therefore belong at the table to lead and inform policies, programs, and projects that affect them and their peers. Teen Safe Streets is a youth-led program to promote transportation safety, educate about bicycle / pedestrian / transit mobility and teen driving safety and laws like the Graduated Drivers' License.

Youth Advisors work within a small team to complete projects, organize events, and conduct outreach / education regarding active living, youth engagement, and safe transportation (transit, bike, walk, roll, and drive).
Join our team! These positions will work with the Teen Safe Streets (TSS) grant program. The Youth Ambassador team seeks collaborative teammates who desire grassroots civic engagement work, strong desire and / or history of Community Engagement or Social Justice work, engaging underinvested communities, working alongside diverse young populations in neighborhoods across Denver.
