There is one vacancy with the Department of Facility Maintenance, Public Building and Electrical Maintenance located at 455 Kokea Street. Under the direct supervision of the Air Conditioning Repair Supervisor, the incumbent participates in the operation, repair and maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, which includes compressors, starters, motors, blowers, fans, pumps, piping, cooling towers, heat exchangers, pressure switches, temperature controls, remote indicating systems, automatic controls, personal computers, refrigerant systems, condensers, evaporators, operating and sequencing controls, etc. in public buildings, related structures and appurtenances under the jurisdiction of the Department of Facility Maintenance. Applies applicable safety practices, rules and procedures and performs all duties in a safe and acceptable manner. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Possession of a Forklift Certification before the end of the initial probation period.

The Department of Human Resources will review fingerprint-based state and national criminal history record information from the Hawaii Criminal Justice Data Center and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
