GOLF COURSE GROUNDS KEEPER (BC-03) (FULL-TIME)
Salary: $4,340/month (BC-03)
New hire Golf Course Grounds Keepers work six (6) days a week (may include weekends and holidays, based on seniority) and may start as early as 4:00 a.m., depending on work location. Six (6) day work schedule consists of four (4) 8-hour days and two (2) 4-hour days per week. Position duties include, but are not limited to, utilizing various equipment, such as riding mowers, sod cutting machines, verti-cutting machine, core harvester, etc, to maintain the golf course turf by cutting, aerifying, seeding, weeding and fertilizing golfing areas; grading and preparing the base course; cutting and laying sod; cutting cups for pin placement; relocating tee markers; maintaining sand trap; watering and trimming shrubbery; performing custodial services for the clubhouse and comfort stations; assisting in repair and replacement of sprinklers; operating pick-up truck to haul rubbish and pick up supplies.
GOLF CART ATTENDANT (BC-02) (TEMPORARY, PART-TIME ONLY)
Salary: $24.35/hour (BC-02)
Work schedules vary, but all work between 4:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., including weekends and holidays. Position duties include, but are not limited to, picking up and returning golf carts to the cart barns; inspecting for damages; filling gasoline tank and/or attaches/detaches electrical charging unit; removing litter, sweeping floor boards, and washing and wiping down the exterior and interior; verifying payment receipt, assigning carts, and completing agreement form with patrons; performing light custodial and grounds keeping duties when necessary; and performing other related duties.
