- There is one vacancy with the Department of Planning and Permitting. This position serves as the Monitoring and Compliance Branch Chief of the Customer Services Office. Examples of work duties and responsibilities includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Supervises the research, analysis, evaluation, preparation and processing of Civil Fine Orders for violations of the Land Use Ordinance, Special Management Area & Shoreline Setback Rules and Regulations, and permit conditions.
- Monitors the status of pending Civil Fine cases and coordinates the follow-up enforcement effort with Corporation Counsel.
- Supervises the monitoring of compliance to permit conditions.
- Directs, supervises, evaluates, and gives assignments to staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited college or university with specialization in city planning, architecture, engineering, economics, sociology, public administration or a related field.
