The City Attorney's Office is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Law Clerks to join our legal team for this summer, possibly into the fall semester. This position is available for a rising 2L or 3L student. The student may set their schedule Monday - Friday, 8am to 6pm (15-20 hours per week).
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and summarize information for presentation to litigation attorneys.
- Analyze, compile, and summarize information on statutes, ordinances, legal decisions, opinions, rulings, memoranda, and other legal material.
- Examine legal instruments; prepare drafts of legal documents, research, and correspondence for litigation attorneys.
- Assist in the assembly and summarization of information on specific legal subjects, including a variety of subrogation cases for County court.
