Job Description: As a Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting customers, service advisors, and service technicians in locating and purchasing automotive parts and accessories. You will ensure that the parts department operates efficiently by maintaining an organized inventory and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and locating the correct automotive parts and accessories.
- Provide accurate and timely parts information and pricing to customers.
- Maintain an organized and accurate inventory system, including ordering, receiving, and stocking parts.
- Process parts orders and handle transactions efficiently.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder parts as needed to ensure availability.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an automotive parts department or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software related to parts management.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
