Paint and Body Reconditioning Specialist

Job Description:

Are you passionate about cars and have an eye for detail? City Auto Sales is seeking a skilled Paint and Body Reconditioning Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles look their best before hitting the lot. From minor scratches to more extensive body repairs, your expertise will contribute to maintaining our high standards of quality and aesthetics.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles for paint imperfections, scratches, dents, and other cosmetic or structural issues.
• Perform paint touch-ups, repairs, and body reconditioning to maintain the appearance and value of our inventory.
• Utilize appropriate tools, techniques, and materials for seamless finishes and smooth bodywork.
• Collaborate with service department to ensure vehicles meet our high aesthetic and structural standards.
• Execute body repair tasks, including dent removal, buffing, polishing, and panel replacements.
• Manage time efficiently, meeting deadlines and working under short timelines when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a painter, touch-up specialist, or body repair technician in the automotive industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in a body shop environment is required.
• Proficiency in color matching, blending techniques, and body repair processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
