What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMS Technician position at City BES, LLC?
JOB DESCRIPTION
Install building controls, building electrical and/or commercial program refrigeration energy management systems for remodels, new builds and retrofit supermarkets.
As an HVAC/R Controls Installer, you will:
Design and implement refrigeration control strategies for large supermarket clients
Install, troubleshoot and program energy management systems including EIL, Danfoss 255/880 controllers, CPC Reflecs, Einstein and E2s, and Comtrol controllers
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and Emerson E2 programming and retrofits on large parallel rack systems, Glycol and CO2 secondary cooling, and HVAC units for our large supermarket clients
Install and program case controllers including Danfoss, Emerson, and Dixell controllers
Install, set-up and troubleshoot Danfoss and other manufacturers electronic TXVs and electronic EPR valves and controllers, chiller controllers, anti-sweat panels, subcooler controls, and digital compressor controls
Program and troubleshoot numerous other refrigeration and HVAC controls including Carel, RDM, Microthermal, Sporlan, Lennox Prodigy, AAON, and Tridium
Install, program and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives including Danfoss and ABB
Program lighting controls and schedules
Install, program, and troubleshoot Bacharach HGM leak detectors
Build and program custom logic as required to meet the needs of customers
Set-up remote internet access and email alarms for refrigeration/HVAC controls
Survey stores and write up scopes of work
REQUIREMENTS
A strong candidate will have:
Solid mechanical and electrical knowledge and skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
60% travel - Flexible in work schedule (nights or days vary weekly)
Experience installing building automation systems, controls within commercial environments is a plus
