Job Description:
As a Dining Room Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring an exceptional experience for both our guests and staff. You will lead a team of servers, bartenders, hosts and cooks to maintain a positive and efficient work environment. Your role will involve managing staffing, guest satisfaction, food quality and consistency, staff training and ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide memorable guest experiences.
Develop schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels for smooth operations.
Handle staff performance issues, including coaching and discipline when needed.
Customer Service:
Ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience from arrival to departure.
Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality.
Operations Management:
Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
Ensure smooth operations during busy periods by delegating tasks and managing workflow.
Monitor inventory and assist in ordering of supplies to minimize waste and costs.
Financial Management:
Ensure profitability by managing labor costs, food costs, and other operational expenses as directed by the General Manager
Review financial reports and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
Manage cash flow and secure company assets.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
Proven track record of managing teams and leading by example.
Skills:
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Familiarity with restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
