Job Summary
To analyze, organize, plan, schedule and direct Maintenance associates in projects required to assure maximum machine output with required product quality and with minimum downtime for all production equipment in support of the Manufacturing process. Assist in the development and implementation of new and in the improvement of existing maintenance programs and practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises assigned Maintenance P&M resources in the performance of daily tasks, evaluates changing priorities in response to customer's request, reassigns resources as appropriate
- Develops and implements Maintenance schedules in coordination with Production, Engineering, ad other Plant Department requests
- Defines and procures parts, materials and tools required by the Maintenance Department to perform job changes, machine repairs, machine inspections and maintenance efforts
- Insures maintenance of accurate maintenance and repair records for production equipment
- Directs efforts required to maintain shop equipment (tools, fixtures, measuring devices, etc.) in a satisfactory state of repair and, where required, in a calibrated condition
- Directs the maintenance of safety and housekeeping standards in the Maintenance Shop and in its inventory storage facilities
- Establishes and tracks department performance measures and downtime, PM performance to schedule, department spending, overtime, etc.
- Assesses performance, develops and implements training programs for personnel improvement in accordance with ISO documentation requirements
- Work with outside contractors and coordinate work efforts on capital projects and maintain budget as set forth in capital spending plan

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED required.
- 2-5 years supervisory responsibility in maintenance required.
- Able to assist in the development and implementation of Preventative and Predictive Maintenance programs for both production and shop equipment.
- Able to recommend Maintenance staffing levels
- Planning work and sets priorities for Maintenance Department
- Monitor and recommends parts and materials inventory levels
- Identifying problems, provide troubleshooting expertise by offering solutions
- Recommends equipment purchases and or repairs
- Defines training requirements based on assessment of competency
- Perform defined objectives for performance of Maintenance activities
