Job Summary

Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and control all production, planning and distribution planning activities
- Develop production master schedule according to customer orders
- Review production daily, calculate gains and losses, and revise schedule as needed. Communicate changes to appropriate parties.
- Monitor, analyze and report performance to schedule of production and production support activities using information from material and production control systems.
- Utilize production specifications and capacity data to determine adequate resource requirements and most efficient processes.
- Maintain timely and accurate data in MRP system.
- Implement ways to improve systems and processes for production planning.
- Anticipate and communicate current and potential problems and opportunities; work closely with Business Development, Liquid Processing and Warehouse departments.
- Manage release of packaging materials and raw materials according to production schedule requirements, including monitoring lead times and alternate sources.
- Schedule supply deliveries according to production schedule requirements.
- Source and negotiate pricing on supplies.
- Troubleshoot and manage production and packaging / raw material issues.
- Manage deviations in charges to determine charge back opportunity.
- Monitor and communicate price increases on supplies and materials.
- Actively participate in new package / flavor development as part of the commercialization team.
- Guide duties of support staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management or related field.
- Experience in production, inventory and planning environment.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interface with vendors, customers, and coworkers at all levels in the respective organizations.
- Must be team oriented, flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
