Intermediate Architectural Technologist

3 Days In-Office / 2 Days Remote
City Build Recruitment is partnering with a leading architectural firm to find an experienced Intermediate Architectural Technologist specializing in Healthcare and Higher Education projects. We are looking for professionals with a strong technical background who can hit the ground running and contribute to high-profile, impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop detailed working drawings and construction documents for healthcare and higher education projects
- Assist in the preparation of design development and contract documents
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure technical accuracy and design integrity
- Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
- Review and ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code (OBC) and other relevant regulations
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing site queries and RFIs
- Utilize Revit and other design software to produce high-quality, accurate documentation
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field
- 5 years of experience in architectural technology, specifically in healthcare or higher education projects
- Strong proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Solid understanding of building systems, detailing, and construction methods
- Familiarity with Ontario Building Code and other relevant regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
