Job Summary
The Community Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the management and operations of our residential community. This position involves engaging with residents, facilitating communication, and ensuring a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a collaborative spirit, with a focus on enhancing resident satisfaction and community relationships. We have a part-time position starting as an office assistant. We do have other shifts that need to be filled so we could possibly offer Full-time to the right flexible, motivated canidate. Candidate Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, Depndable, trustworthy, and flexible to learn new positions throughout the community. Ideally someone who could drive our bus to events as well would be a huge plus. No CDL required just a good driving history and be over 25.
Duties
Answering, phones, assisting residents, helping with activities, assisting the Director with Kitchen task, Driving the bus to events, filling gaps in daytime staffing when needed.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the community. Help Managers with Kitchen, Dining, Activities, events and fill gaps in staffing.
- Foster positive relationships with residents through effective customer relationship management.
- Support leasing activities, including upselling available units and negotiating lease agreements.
- Collaborate with team members to implement community events and initiatives that enhance resident engagement.
- Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Monitor community standards and assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service and or Senior care is preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong negotiation abilities.
- Flexablility to learn and work in different departments.
- Must have Valid ID be over 25 and have a good driving record.
