Prep/Deli Cook
An exciting position outside of the normal restaurant kitchen environment to provide excellent Food-service at our Deli and Market which includes, Hot, Cold, Soup, Salad bar, and catering.
This individual will be producing a mix of quality prepared, and fresh foods, and with some ability to develop new menu items to serve. A basic knowledge of the following items a plus, food cost, presentation, cleanliness, food safety standards, and teamwork.
Candidate should be familiar with the following:
· General Read, learn, execute, and assist in the creation of recipes of current deli menu with efficiency, consistency, and accuracy. Be aware of daily production tasks and duties according to standards set by Management.
· EXPERIENCE
Educational training, or commercial kitchen experience of 1 year.
Desired Qualities
Food service production.
Kitchen Certification a plus.
· Organizational and communication skills
· Able to lift up to 50 pounds in deliveries of supplies.
· Ability to work independently within a team
· Customer service orientation
· Attention to detail
· Self-motivated
· Cooperative spirit
· Comfortable working alone with little to no direct supervision
Job Duties:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

- Day shift

- 2PM
