A leading restoration shop is seeking an experienced Automotive Metal Fabricator / Welder to join our team of artisans in Hockley, Texas. We build custom cars and trucks for elite clients, as well as aftermarket shows and auctions. The ideal candidate is passionate about their craft and brings a can-do attitude! You should be skilled in shaping automotive body panels and sheet metal, with experience working on classic car bodies, classic trucks, and vintage customizations. This role allows for creative expression, and customization is encouraged.
Join our skilled team of craftsmen as we create factory-correct restorations, custom resto-mods, and performance upgrades. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components to create various products. This is a hands-on position that requires proficiency in using hand tools, rigging equipment, and operating machinery. You'll have the chance to work on elite vehicles that are showcased at industry events like SEMA, Barrett-Jackson, Mecum, PRI, and more. We are a high-production shop serving an elite clientele, where quality and precision are paramount.
Qualified candidates must have:
- 10 years of experience in an automotive shop.
- Quality tools and reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a work-ready mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and replace sheet metal; install body panels (welding skills are a plus).
- Perform bodywork, including body filler, mud work, and block sanding.
- Disassemble and reassemble car components.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
- Uniforms are provided.

Weekly Pay: $1,000-$1,400, based on combined talent and experience.
