We are looking for a full-time commercial Carpenter to join our team. As the carpenter you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, or repairing temporary partitions, rough carpentry tasks such as wood blocking & building parapets, installing casework, the setting of frames, doors and hardware, installation of specialty items, and much more!
Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A minimum of six (6) months industry related experience
- Ability to perform manual construction work and equipment operation as described
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- OSHA certification
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
- Have the ability to work on projects outside of a 60-mile radius from Iowa City
- Valid driver's license and Satisfactory Driving Record
