PART TIME WEEKEND VAN DRIVERS NEEDED

Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and skilled Weekend Van Courier Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of vehicle operation, and the ability to navigate various routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules, routes, and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo as necessary, ensuring all items are secured properly for transport.
• Navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems to optimize travel routes.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with passengers or clients during transportation.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Van Driver or in a similar driving role is preferred but not required.
• Experience in warehouse operations or freight handling is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; additional certifications may be necessary based on specific job requirements.
