Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic FULL TIME HYGIENIST to join our team in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our establishment, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both staff and customers. This position requires a strong commitment to food safety practices and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, including food preparation areas and dining spaces.
• Assist with food handling and preparation while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and cash handling.
• Engage with customers to provide assistance, answer questions, and promote menu items through effective upselling techniques.
• Perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the grocery store environment.
• Support culinary staff as needed, contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in roles that emphasize hygiene and cleanliness.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus.
• Strong understanding of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Experience in sales or upselling techniques is advantageous.
