Summary :
CES is in search of a legal intern for the summer of 2025. This intern would have the opportunity to work with in-house attorneys on a variety of issues, including both transactional and litigation matters. Some areas of exposure may include contract negotiation, drafting, and interpretation; finance; intellectual property; employment law matters; litigation management and document review; real estate purchases, sales, and leases; and mergers and acquisitions.
This position will be on-site Monday – Thursday, with optional remote work on Fridays.
Essential Job Functions :
- Assist in conducting legal research on a variety of topics, including contracts, intellectual property, employment law, and real estate matters, providing support to in-house counsel in preparing case strategies and legal documents.
- Support attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts, employment policies, litigation-related documents, and other legal materials.
- Assist in contract negotiation and the drafting of documents related to real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance matters.
- Help with document management and review for ongoing litigation matters, including organizing evidence, summarizing case files, and assisting with discovery.
- Work alongside in-house attorneys and other departments to support legal projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to legal guidelines.
- Provide general support to the legal department, including managing deadlines, organizing files, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.
