We are looking for a skilled Landscape Gardener to join our team!
You will maintain grounds by performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, planting, watering, weeding, raking, flower planting, and bed mulching with the goal of creating beautiful and well-groomed outdoor spaces for our customers.
We primarily serve the beautiful East Side of Providence. We provide full service landscape maintenance to many high quality residential sites.
You will maintain grounds by performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, planting, watering, weeding, raking, flower planting, and bed mulching with the goal of creating beautiful and well-groomed outdoor spaces for our customers.
We primarily serve the beautiful East Side of Providence. We provide full service landscape maintenance to many high quality residential sites.
You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Past experience as a landscaper is preferred and a positive attitude is a must!
The Job is currently scheduled to start March 17th but may change due to weather
Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes
- Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws
- Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans
- Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws
- Gather and remove litter
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Qualifications:
- Past experienced as a landscaper/groundskeeper preferred
- Enjoys working
- Enjoys making landscape beautiful
- Takes pride in their work
- Experience with the use of small power equipment
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 50 pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time
- Willing to work in all weather elements
- Valid Driver license with clean driving record.
- We will not not consider anyone that does not have a valid Drivers License
- Ability to drive a 1 ton dump and 14' trailer
Typical Day is 7am -530pm
Typical hours are 45 hours
Saturday work only as needed due to weather
Season is March - December. At the end of December field staff is laid off due to lack of work and they are eligible to collect unemployment
