Under the direction of the Director of Summer School, the Lead Teacher is responsible for providing an instructional program based on grade level. Each classroom will have an assistant as well.

The Most Exciting Part of the Job
- Working with our wonderful students!
- Providing instruction that supports the development of the cognitive, emotional, social, physical and spiritual growth of the child
- The preparation of materials and environment that meets the sensitive period/plane of development of the students
- Providing supervision and enriching activities during non-academic times as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years of teaching and classroom experience
- Missouri State Certification in Elementary or early Childhood Education - THIS IS REQUIRED. Those have only Substitute certification do not qualify.
Schedule
Hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, plus 1 day Orientation/ Training before the start of Summer School (date TBD).
The Summer Academic Program, which is non-Montessori, will be convened in 2 sessions:
- Session 1 - June 9 to June 20, 2025 (no school on the Juneteenth holiday, Thursday, June 19th)
- Session 2 - June 23 to July 3, 2025

Compensation
This is an in-person, temporary position, and pays a rate of $ 30.00 per hour.Salary : $30
