Responsibilities
Before-Care/After-Care
- Safely supervise students indoors and outside, using good judgment in dealing with situations – behavioral, safety, instructional, etc.
- Facilitate activities for students
- Keep accurate attendance records following check-in and check-out procedures
- This is for the current school year and Summer School (June 9 through July 3, 2025)
- On days when school is in session; typically Monday through Friday (except for school breaks of March 17-21 and June 2-6)
- Aftercare shift is from 3:00 to 6:00 pm
- Before care shift is from 6:45 to 9:00 am
- Loves working with kids!
- Current college student
- Experience working with students in a school or other supervised setting (YMCA, community center, day camp, church, etc.)

- Babysitting/ child care experience and comfortable being with the inquisitive, fun, surprising nature of little ones
- Be flexible to adapt to the changing nature of the work
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others
- Dependability – our students need us to be there for them
- Willingness to assume any responsibilities appropriate for the position
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and anti-biased/anti-racist principles
- Effective communication skills with adults and children
Compensation
This part-time, non-exempt position pays $16.00 per hour.
