At our dining establishment CITY GRIT, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, attentive, and professional Back Server to join our dynamic team. Back serving is an art, and the Back Server is the backbone of CITY GRIT’s dinner service. Our Back Servers run food, bus tables, polish flatware & glassware, restock water bottles, and help make service run smoothly.
The role of a Back Server is a pivotal one in any high-caliber restaurant, and this is no different for our well-established brand. As a Back Server, you will play an essential role in supporting our front-of-house team to deliver a seamless dining experience that consistently exceeds our patrons' expectations.
This is an hourly position as our restaurant does not accept gratuity!
Job Responsibilities:
- Running food/pre-bussing and bussing
- Refilling drinks
- Menu and Wine Knowledge
- Communicate between Floor Manager, Chef and Server of guests' courses
- Ensuring plating is to proper perfection and presentation
- Polishing Glassware
- Rolling silverware
- Folding Linens
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
