Bicycle Sales Associate

City Grounds is looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Bike Sales Associate to join our team. If you have a passion for cycling, a strong understanding of bikes and gear, and enjoy helping others find the perfect ride, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview

As a Bike Sales Associate, you will assist customers in selecting bikes, components, and accessories while maintaining a well-organized and engaging retail environment. You will provide expert guidance on various bike styles, from fixed-gear and BMX to e-bikes, and contribute to an outstanding in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing bikes, parts, and accessories based on their needs and preferences
• Provide knowledgeable insights on different bike styles, brands, and gear
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store environment
• Perform minor bike builds and adjustments (mechanical experience is a plus)
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a positive shopping experience

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of bicycles, components, and cycling culture
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic mechanical skills are preferred but not required—training is available
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must be available to work on Saturdays; both part-time and full-time positions available

• Flexible & Available – Must be available for weekday, weekend, and some holiday shifts (8 AM – 5 PM)
• Physically Capable – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• Dependable Transportation – Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Driving Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to operate a sprinter-sized vehicle or box truck as needed for deliveries and pickups.
• Previous experience driving larger vehicles is a plus.
