Position Overview
The Healthcare Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving revenue by strategically selling healthcare linen rental service agreements and related direct-sale products. The role requires proactive prospecting, cold-calling, client qualification, sales presentations, and territory management to meet and exceed weekly sales targets. A successful candidate must work independently and efficiently utilize relationship management software to generate and manage leads accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Increase company revenue by securing healthcare linen rental service agreements, COG or NOG, and direct-sale product sales through various sales techniques, including prospecting, cold-calling, presentations, and follow-ups.
- Leverage CRM software, Salesforce.com, to generate leads, set appointments, and maintain accurate prospect information.
- Manage a designated sales territory independently, including setting an average of 4 appointments daily.
- Present proposals to healthcare clients using the methods taught by leadership, following up throughout the sales process from initial contact to final agreement.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company's healthcare linen rental services and direct-sale products, understanding their use in hospital and clinical settings.
- Regularly meet with prospects and clients within the healthcare industry, scheduling appointments, conducting phone prospecting, and completing administrative tasks.
- Strive to maximize customer contract terms and account profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company professionally, maintaining a neat appearance.
- Provide prompt, effective solutions to customer needs, demonstrating positive communication skills with customers, prospects, and colleagues.
- Maintain reliable attendance, adhering to the company’s Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule, with flexibility as needed.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the healthcare or laundry industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with CRM software, Salesforce.com.
- Ability to work independently and self-manage within a given territory.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This job operates in a professional environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Physical Job Functions:
