Project Manager-Utilities & Construction
Location: Fairfield, CA, Travis Air Force Base

We support the federal government, military institutions, municipalities, and major utilities across the US, with financing, design, engineering, construction, and ongoing operations and maintenance for electrical transmission and distribution systems, as well as outdoor street, sport, and other recreational lighting.
We are growing our team at Travis Air Force Base and seeking a talented Project Manager (PM) to join us. Field experience in utilities and construction preferred.
The PM will oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of the project; Will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project team personnel and resources
- Enhance and maintain relationships with clients, project team members and senior management.
- Attend and lead project meetings, including progress, pre-construction, and pre-award
- Develop and maintain site logistics plans, in coordination with the project Superintendent
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.
- Compile reports regarding financial performance of the project
- Hire new talent as needed to fulfill client needs.
- Prepare trade contracts and bid packages and monitor procurement process
- Oversee cost control and change management systems
- Set-up QA/QC procedures and conduct quality inspections
- Communicate and enforce corporate Safety and Health Management Program

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Five-Seven (5-7) years' project management experience required (construction or utility experience preferred).
- Previous experience with City Light & Power may substitute.
- Demonstrated experience working with blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to view time/cost/labor estimates.
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to prepare construction schedules in Microsoft Project.
- Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to delegate work appropriately.
- Able to perform successully as a team player while working with various partners from start to finish.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
- You must be a US Citizen.
- You will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.
- Valid driver's license required with a record that meets CLP Fleet Policy.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $85,000-$105,000/annually plus eligible to participate in Short Term Incentive Plan.
