REPORTS TO: Food and Beverage Manager
DEPARTMENT: Revenue
JOB SUMMARY: Work directly with Food/Beverage Director to provide leadership, training and support for all food service team members. Enhance guest experience through quality control of goods and services provided to guests. Maintain highest industry standards for food service at all times through implementation of Servesafe policies and procedures.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure team leaders and members are trained in Servesafe standards.
- Ensure team leaders and members are following all cash handling procedures.
- Ensure team members and team leaders adhere to all Museum Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure the department maintains a culture of growth and development through positive reinforcement and mentoring.
- Train, direct and evaluate staff for long term stability of department.
- Responsible for meeting budgeted sales goals and margins in both Food and Catering.
- Ensure that all job duties are performed in a reasonable and safe manner for both
Qualifications
- Proven ability to work well with others in a leadership role
- Good written and verbal English language communication skills.
- Self motivated and self directed along with ability to solve problems.
- Ability to carry out both verbal and written instructions.
- High school education or equivalent. College degree preferred.
- Two years experience as a front line supervisor for food or retail operation required.
- Must have experience in and knowledge of accurate cash handling policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate ability to be friendly, caring and interactive with guests and team members.
- Proven track record of training and mentoring team leaders and members.
- Respond appropriately to workplace changes, and resolve issues in a positive manner.
- History of following all Servesafe standards.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to hear and speak clearly to respond to guest and employee questions and concerns.
- Lifting weight up to 50 pounds.
- Working in hot and humid environment for extended periods of time.
