Derivatives & FX Solutions Senior

Overview

The Senior Banker Derivative & FX solutions will lead the pitching and advising of CNB’s wide variety of clients ranging from middle market, corporate, real estate, international, and financial sponsors on interest rate and FX derivatives. The Derivatives & FX solutions desk is CNB’s interface in providing hedging strategies across interest rate swaps, caps, collars, swaptions, floors, cancellables, foreign exchange, and other related instruments. The Senior Banker will have primary responsibilities for origination, structure, and execution of specific Derivative and Investment Trade Activities.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for originating, structuring, and executing hedging solutions and strategies to meet specific/unique client needs.
• Advises clients on addressing macro market exposures across interest rates, foreign exchange and credit derivatives.
• Prepare and analyze derivative pricing models and client facing materials needed to help facilitate transactions, as well as financial models and company financial statements in order to identify and recommend strategies
• Must be familiar with ISDA documentation, CSAs and all regulatory guidelines
• Be creative in idea generation while maintaining awareness of market trends and structural solutions to meet customers' needs In line with desk policies and procedures.
• Assist in the development of a robust FX platform that facilitates client transactions in a more efficient and profitable manner
• Collaborate with line of businesses leadership to develop new products and vertical strategies.
• Drive the preparation of proposals, pitchbooks, and presentations to the client regarding corporate derivative solutions.
• Attend and/or lead industry events (e.g. derivative, FX, etc.)
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging opportunities that could impact the overall strategy of the bank.
• Willing to travel occasionally to meet with clients.
• Serve as subject matter expert in all aspects of derivatives and FX products.

Qualifications

• 5 years of proven experience in capital markets with direct focus on Global Markets (FX, Interest Rate, Fixed Income, etc.)
• Focus on direct marketing of Interest Rate Derivatives, FX, and Fixed Income
• Derivatives sales experience to corporate clients is a big plus.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, fixed income products, interest rate curve construction, derivative valuation, and various pricing methodologies and hedging strategies
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent analytical and basic financial modeling skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and financial partners.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. 
• Master's Degree or MBA Finance, Economics, or a related field.
