MGR OPS SERVICING WEALTH MGMT CNS
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Manager of Ops Servicing Wealth Mgmt CNS is responsible for managing client service functions and the execution of key strategic initiatives for the City National Securities(CNS) component of Wealth Management, within Banking & Investment Services division. This position will work closely with CNS's senior management team with emphasis on planning, processes, project management and new technologies to ensure the achievement of business plan goals and objectives. Adheres to Bank compliance policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements and guides directionally to staff. Ensures quality client service, operational integrity and regulatory compliance. This position will manage a team of CNS Wealth Management Services colleagues who will manage tasks such as onboarding, account management, and other client service functions.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Execute all operating and client service deliverables with a focus on short and long term objectives that boost business growth and protocols that can improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work directly on planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating all operating practices to increase productivity, ensure continued delivery of best in class service and operational excellence.
- Drive timely, on-budget completion of key initiatives, in collaboration with Wealth Management stakeholders and lines of business including: creating and overseeing project plans, with budgeting, resource management, operational change, management reporting, and issue and risk evaluation. Define success criteria for both project and on-going production and prioritize projects and phases for maximum return.
- Serve as key contact for CNS operations, programs and integration activities and will represent interests directly or indirectly on committees, task forces and project teams as assigned.
- Manage the implementation of CNS product and service offerings, systems, platforms, marketing efforts, and compliance.
- Guide and direct teammates and other members of management in the pursuit of executing CNS goals and objectives across all initiatives requiring execution of priorities and making sure deliverables are achieved on a timely and quality basis.
- Incorporate Top Grading practices in evaluating and building CNS client service teams. Hire, terminate, develop, coach, and motivate colleagues. Identify staff development needs and provides appropriate opportunities or through leveraging internal or external resources. Stay abreast of new developments concerning policy and procedures, and communicate in a timely manner to staff.
- Responsible and accountable for appropriate quality controls related to the financial products the bank provides, the services the bank delivers, the processes employed and the incentives with which colleagues are awarded.

Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in investment operations and client service
- FINRA Series 99, 7, and 63 required
Skills and Knowledge
- FINRA Series 24 strongly preferred, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Deep understanding of investment operations and services
- Strong knowledge of bank operations, particularly as they result to investment management

- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to plan and present to executive management
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration capabilities
- Proven and measurable change management experience
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Must possess strong financial and business acumen and savvy

- A strong understanding of technology.
- Understanding of current regulatory environment, and applicability.
COMPENSATION
Starting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
