SECONDARY MARKETING ANALYTICS LEADER
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Responsible for minute to minute / daily mortgage pricing/risk/performance metrics aligned with corporate strategy, and business line functions. Supporting current Secondary Leaders with product, pricing and daily activities. Multi-functional as it relates to both salable and held to maturity product segmentation. Integral single point of contact with data science/analytics team. Supports and provides options for changes to pricing strategy and volume metrics aligned with Sales.
What you will do
- Daily benchmarking and support of pricing position taking guidance and direction from other key leaders in Secondary.
- Provides support and works closely with product development and sales on dialing in our go-forward product / volume strategy.
- Assists the trade desk, traders, and risk managers with various duties/tasks needed for completing trades and loan sales. Takes direction and initiative from Middle Office Leader / Secondary Manager / Sr. Trader.
- Complementary single point of contact for middle office for their duties. Including at risk trade limit reporting, mark to market outputs as defined/managed by the Secondary Marketing Manager and/or Traders.
- Preparing, analyzing and presenting key financial reports to various leaders/stakeholders across the organization.
- Provides guidance and direction on sales channel feedback to better assess and support key Secondary leaders and existing teams duties.
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 3-7 years broad based residential mortgage analytics, including pricing of loans, product design and cross functional partnerships with various leaders.
- 3 years of experience in Capital Markets, Secondary Marketing, Origination, Servicing, Product Guidelines and knowledge of secondary marketing investors/liquidity measures in a Loans Held for Sale/Investment multi best execution platform.
- 3 years of experience in reporting and analytics software/models.
Skills and Knowledge
- Residential Mortgage within an OCC/FDIC/Federal Reserve/CFPB US Bank.
- Investor / Product understanding in Residential Mortgage Loans
- Pricing of Residential Mortgage Loans
- Transaction Management
- Secondary Marketing/Capital Markets
- Knowledge of how derivative trading assets/instruments work with our strategies
- Integral knowledge of GSE’s operating model and capital markets activities
- Whole loan purchases and sales with varying Rep & Warrant structures along with diverse set of buyers
Compensation
Starting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
