Job Description

Environmental Worker - Entry Level: Pay Starts at $19.90 / hourly
The entry-level candidate will be trained to perform the duties of the collection of all kinds of refuse within the City of Aberdeen. Picks up garbage and other refuse such as recyclables, yard waste, bulk items, etc., and places it on the truck.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in all weather conditions
- Valid Driver's License
Environmental Worker II CDL: Pay starts at $21.94 / hourly
Provides safe operation of a refuse truck to ensure day to day residential customer service needs are met in an efficient, safe and productive manner through the collection of all types of refuse by the City of Aberdeen.
This position requires Driving and Throwing. This position requires a valid driver's license with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) endorsement.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) endorsement
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions
