UTILITIES PLANT OPERATOR I
The City of Ada is accepting applications until filled for the position of Utilities Plant Operator I at the Liquid Waste Plant. Individual selected will be responsible to operate and maintain the city's liquid waste treatment plant and to operate and maintain various pump equipment and production facilities in support of the city's sewer system. Requires high school diploma supplemented by specialized training in plant operations as identified by the State of Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). Preference will be given for current DEQ certifications. Individual selected must be able to obtain necessary DEQ certifications within six months and must have valid Oklahoma driver's license. Position offers full benefits including vacation, retirement, health and dental insurance, and paid holidays.
