Description
The City of Aiken is accepting applications for a Public Services Coordinator to join our Public Services Department.
Examples of Duties
- Supervises field crews and develops, implements, and manages maintenance systems
- Assigns work to crews and monitors progress
- Evaluates employees and their work product
- Fills in wherever is needed to ensure the work gets completed
- Requires a high level of ownership in regards to assigned duties
- Manage small and large equipment, training, repair, upkeep, and routine maintenance
- Ensure landscaping maintenance to City rights-of-way is completed
- Ensure personnel are trained properly
- Ensure weekly cleaning and maintenance of equipment is done
- Ensure all personnel comply with all safety rules and regulations
- Respond to citizen complaints
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to keep them up to date
- Prepare and distribute accident and injury reports
- Basic computer skills to complete performance evaluations, generate purchase orders, input data into spreadsheets, and similar tasks
