EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Required: Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field;Three (3) years of experience in Human Resources; andValid New Mexico Driver’s License or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of employment with a driving record acceptable to the City of Alamogordo; orAny equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Desired: One (1) year of supervisory experience.Public Sector experience.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certification(s).Experience with NeoGov and/or Tyler software.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully;Most work is performed indoors; the noise level in the work environment is typically quiet;While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear; The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms; May require driving and off-road walking under a variety of weather conditions; required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing fieldwork.
