What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Maintenance position at City of Albany Department of Recreation?
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Field Maintenance worker is responsible for executing the seasonal Field Maintenance program including: general field maintenance duties, assisting with field maintenance projects, cleaning park grounds and buildings, as well as operating small landscape related equipment and assisting with special functions.
Work Schedule:
40 hours
Training and Experience:
1. Valid NYS Driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to City standards.
2. Experience in a building/park maintenance setting is desired.
3. Experience in the following is a desired: small & heavy equipment operation, landscaping, turf maintenance.
4. Knowledge in parks maintenance and sports field management is an asset.
5. Working knowledge of City of Albany and programs is an asset.
