Position Summary
Participate in the grounds maintenance, repair and beautification of municipal medians, streetscapes, landscapes and other City properties; perform turf mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, planting and watering and perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
Education directly related to the minimum requirements below may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
High school diploma or GED; and
One (1) year of experience in any combination of the following areas :
- parks maintenance
- grounds maintenance
- right of way maintenance
- landscaping
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
Possession of a New Mexico Public Applicator License Category 3A, 3B and 6B within six (6) months from date of hire.
