Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Parks and Recreation Program Coordinator & Finance Director/Treasurer, the Sports Recreation Coordinator Intern will be responsible for planning and overseeing all adult recreational sports leagues and tournaments for the City of Alma. These events may include, but are not limited to, adult co-ed softball, kickball, soccer, disc golf, ultimate frisbee, grass volleyball, and/or other events as determined by the Parks and Recreation Program Coordinator & Finance Director. The Sports Recreation Coordinator Intern will also assist with other Parks and Recreation Programming activities including summer camps. This position will also be expected to serve as a liaison between various sports organizations and the City of Alma to provide better recreational opportunities for the community.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: From $14.47 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
