What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patrolman/ SRO position at City of Alton?
Under administrative direction of the Sergeant on any assigned shift and responsible for patrolling to prevent crime and enforcing laws and ordinances; Responding to emergency calls and routine complaints; Taking appropriate action with interviewing witnesses and suspects while taking statements and depositions; Conduct traffic control when necessary. This position will also be responsible for administrative work in relation to police activities and will perform related work as required. providing school resource officer duty when needed or assigned
Requirements:
Completion of High School or equivalent
Current Texas Peace Officer’s license issued by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education
Texas Class “C” Driver’s License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour
