What are the responsibilities and job description for the Records Technician Police Department position at City of Alvin?
Job Announcement:
Under general supervision, performs routine clerical work to assist in maintaining accurate and complete Police Department records; performs related work as required. Incumbent must be able to perform a full range of duties within a framework of established procedures, with only occasional instruction or assistance. Reports to the Support Service Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or GED
Special Requirements:
Must be certifiable as a Notary Public.
Proficient in Windows Based and other software programs.
This position is classified as an "Emergency Essential" position as described in the City of Alvin's Personnel Policy Manual. These employees may be required to remain or respond in the event of emergency conditions and be available immediately before (Pre-Impact), during (Emergency Period), and/or after the disaster or emergency condition (Post Impact/Recovery), to perform duties directly related to the emergency conditions as determined by the City.
